Map/Directions

At Chula Vista Municipal tee times can be found for great value, especially considering its close proximity to the San Diego area. The course was designed by Dick Wilson and Billy Casper, and originally opened in 1961. It is a Par 73 layout, which plays 6,759 yards from the back tees, has a slope of 130, and Bermuda grass. The Sweetwater River runs through the property, and that, combined with three lakes means there is water in play on 15 holes. There are three Par 5's in the first seven holes, which makes it play to a Par 37. The longest of the Par 5's is 528 yards, so big hitters have the opportunity to get off to a great start. Everyone looking for cheap golf in Bonita will enjoy the grass driving range, short game area, and practice putting green when looking to sharpen their skills before heading out for a round.

The clubhouse and restaurant "The Links" have been recently renovated making them a great place for charity golf tournaments, corporate outings, and even weddings and all types of other memorable occasions. Previous players have said that the course fun, yet challenging, and that is looks much easier than it actually is. When looking for Bonita tee times, Chula Vista Municipal is a great choice and should definitely be considered.
