A target game prevails here, as inhospitable natural areas loom beyond the groomed turf. Because of the frequent elevation changes, you are sure to face a few blind shots during the round. The 4th hole is one of many memorable tests. It s a gorgeous downhill par 3 with a well-bunkered green tucked in a ravine. If you can survive the first several holes at Eagle Glen Golf Club, you ll be able to handle the remainder of the round without blowing up your scorecard. Variety is a hallmark of the game. The layout features uphill and downhill holes, fairways that angle off into trouble, and quick greens with pronounced tilt and undulations. While the front nine occupies high ground and yields expansive vistas of the city of Corona and beyond, the more wide open back nine rambles a bit more traditionally on lower-lying holes in the valley basin. The par-4 11th begins on a clifftop and plays way down over a stone wall to the fairway below. The par-5 15th, possibly the most scenic spot on the course from the back tee box, features a cool Biarritz green with a trough in the middle.
