Map/Directions

If you are seeking a round of cheap golf in Corona, Green River Golf Club is a must play municipal course. This rustic course is cut out of the canyon areas of Corona, Ca. along the Santa Ana River bed. Green River runs along and is visible from the heavily traveled Riverside Fwy (91) approximately 23 miles from The Disneyland Resort and Knotts Berry Farm.

Green River Golf Club was designed by Cary Bickler and was opened for play in 1962. This 18 hole par 72 facility measures 6,634 yards from the championship (blue) tees. The course has a rating of 71.6 with a slope of 123 on Bermuda grass. While the course can be considered flat, it is designed with several creek and river crossings, and strategically placed sand traps. The course becomes significantly more difficult with the presence of the Santa Ana winds that often reach 40-50 mph.

If you are considering Corona tee times, Green River Golf Club tee times may be reserved online of by contacting the course starter. Amenities include a full practice facility with a 15,000 sq. ft. putting green, club & cart rental, banquet facilities and a bar/restaurant.

Players stress the importance of accuracy off the tee. Otherwise, you end up in the canyon brush. If the Santa Ana winds come, accuracy becomes a chore.
