The facility is located about 6 miles off of Interstate 5 in Riverside County.

The Hesperia Golf & Country Club was designed by William F. Bell and was officially opened in 1957. The 18 hole championship course is a par 72, covering 7,006 yards from the championship (black) tees. The course carries a rating of 73 with a slope of 129 on Bermuda grass. The difficulty in the course lies in it's length and narrow fairways. Several holes are dog legs and require most golfers to avoid using their driver off the tee. The course has several lakes and well placed sand traps.
