Map/Directions

It is not very often that you find a 'links style' public course. The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton, Ca. is one such course. If you desire good Stockton golf deals, you should make a trip to The Reserve and try something a little different. The course is located in the San Joaquin Valley about 40 mils south of the State Capital in Sacramento.

This 18 hole championship course was designed by architect Andy Raugust and opened in 1999. The Reserve at Spanos Park is a par 72 layout that measure 7,132 yards with a difficult rating of 74 and a slope of 133 on Rye grass. The course has all the characteristics of a links course with rolling fairways, large bunkers protecting key landing areas and greens, water affecting 12 holes, and fast putting surfaces, but no trees.

The Reserve at Spanos Park discounts make the green fees a great golfing value. When you decide to reserve your Stockton tee times, you can go to the course website or make direct contact with the starter. You will find the following amenities: a nite-lit practice facility, a pro shop, cart and club rentals, a restaurant/bar and a lovely banquet/wedding area.

Golfers were quick to point out that when the wind howls through the valley, the course becomes a class A challenge.
