Sometimes, a shorter course is perfect for a quick round of golf and chance to try out different shots. The Upland Hills Country Club in Upland, Ca. is very short, but offers enough challenges to make it one of the decent Upland golf deals in the area. The course is located about 12 miles from the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds at Fairplex in Pomona.

The Upland Hills Country Club was designed by David A. Rainville in 1985. This par 70 regulation course measures 5,504 yards from the back tees on Bermuda grass with a rating of 66.8 and a slope of 118. The course is very short. It winds through a residential development which makes the fairways narrow. The course has several small lakes and sand traps that guard the greens. Most green are undulating, but not too fast. The course is fairly straight and puts a premium on keeping the ball in the fairway.

If you are in the area and want to find affordable golf, you should consider Upland Hills Country Club discounts which are available when you reserve Upland tee times online. The course has a practice facility/driving range, pro shop, restaurant and club and cart rentals.

Players remark that the course is easy and affordable. The course does command accuracy off the tees.
