A Golfer's Deadliest of All Sins - Indecision
This tip is by Bob Cisco, PGA Tour Instructor
The biggest difficulty and the deadliest of all sins that the golfer commits is being indecisive. Indecisiveness show itself in a number of ways -- in improper club selection, poor course management and strategy, lapses in concentration and mis-hitting the shot -- accounting for more errant shots than any other factor in hitting a golf ball.
So we have a natural law about this: ALL POORLY PLAYED GOLF SHOTS ARE THE RESULT OF BEING INDECISIVE AT THE MOMENT OF HITTING THE GOLF BALL.ALL WELL PLAYED GOLF SHOTS ARE THE RESULT OF BEING DECISIVE AND SURE AT THE MOMENT OF HITTING THE GOLF SHOT.Using a "swing-key" or thought reminder is an effective way to bring about more decisive shots. Jack Nicklaus over the years used a swing key of taking the club "back low and slow" and he attributes this key or central thought to a lot of his success throughout his career. Work on being more decisive and you will find better effective performances and scores!
